New partnership between Oneida Indian Nation and Caesars Ent to see the ultimate sports betting experience open on Aug 1st in Upstate New York

The Oneida Indian Nation has announced that it has entered into a new partnership with global gaming leader, Caesars Entertainment, to open sports books called “The Lounge at Caesars Sports,” at its three Upstate New York casinos.
A federally recognized tribe, the Oneida Nation’s annual payments under the settlement agreement to New York State and surrounding communities total roughly $60 million.

The year-round, multi-sport viewing and wagering venue will open at the Nation’s flagship Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona, New York, and at its 65,000 square foot Point Place Casino in Bridgeport that opened on March 1st, 2018, with a Grand Opening celebration planned for the two gaming venues on August 1.
The Lounge with Caesars Sports is slated to open at the Tribe’s Yellow Brick Road Casino located in the Village of Chittenango prior to the start of the 2019 NFL season on September 5.
Features of The Lounge with Caesars Sports:
In addition to constantly updating, state-of-the-art odds boards that offer opportunities for in-game wagers and LED terminals with high-definition resolution, the sports betting venues at the trio of Oneida Indian Nation casinos will feature new full-service bars, custom made luxury seating, ticket windows, and VIP areas each complete with dedicated TV screens.
Locations and other features specific to each of the new sports betting venues will be as follows:
- Turning Stone: “The Lounge with Caesars Sports” is situated at the main entrance of the resort and feature a gigantic 500 square-foot curved LED screen, comparable in acuity to One Times Square’s new five-screen LED assembly, that will be three sides visible to visitors who enter from both the main entrance and the parking garage. Additionally, 16 large LED TVs will be placed throughout the sports book, to include a mix of 85-inch and 65-inch screens that will put viewers at the center of all the sports action. Food, craft cocktails and fan-favorite beer will also be staples.
- Point Place Casino: The new sports wagering lounge is a central part of the newly expanded gaming floor and features a 24-foot high-resolution video wall, along with 30 big LED screens, inclduing a mix of 85-inch and 65-inch screens, throughout the space. Visitors can also enjoy substantial menu offerings, beer and craft cocktails, while luxury VIP areas offer special menu packages, exclusive seating and their own dedicated screens.
Champions Fan Club:
Sports enthusiasts will also be able to join the Oneida Nation’s newly-launched Champions Fan Club for the latest sports book news, exclusive events, special offers and TS Rewards Points promotions.
According to the press release, members of the Champions Fan Club who sign up prior to the grand opening on August 1 will be eligible for ‘a selection of prizes and exclusive opportunities’, including a Grand Opening Prize package that will entitle one lucky winner and three of his or her friends to be among the very first to enjoy the VIP experience at the Turning Stone location’s new sports betting lounge. In addition to premium seating, the prize package includes $50 in food and drink credit, a cash voucher for $100 and more.
Each member of the Champions Fan Club in attendance at the grand opening will also reportedly receive a free “The Lounge with Caesars Sports” t-shirt along with a chance to win additional prizes throughout the day’s festivities.
Interested guests can currently sign up at either the Turning Stone or point Place location.
Integrated Rewards Program:
Courtesy of the new relationship, players at Turning Stone, Yellow Brick Road and Point Place Casino will be able to redeem and exchange their TS Rewards loyalty points. Additionally, they will be able to have their player tier levels matched, for Caesars Rewards Points at every Caesars property, with the same exchange available for players at Caesars and Oneida Indian Nation properties. Special event and player promotions will also be sponsored by Caesars at its new partner venues.
