It’s that time of year again when jack-o’-lanterns, black cats and witches with pointy hats begin to appear, and in keeping with the theme of the fast-approaching Halloween holiday, online casino software provider Yggdrasil Gaming has released its ghoulish title, Blood Moon Wilds.
The backdrop for this intriguing 5×3 slot is as spooky as the game’s symbols and creepy soundtrack, as players witness the transformation of a village into treasure-seeking werewolves under the light of a full moon.
“pulsating gameplay and chance of huge wins”
Designed exclusively for GVC, the medium to high variance game that takes place in a bayou in Victorian-era New Orleans has plenty of innovative features making for huge win potential.
Lunar dial feature:
Appearing on a dial above the game screen, the lunar dial, which displays the current phases of the moon, turns with every spin. If it lands on a full moon in the base game, all of the high-pay symbol villagers on the grid turn into Werewolf Wilds.
A red blood moon replaces the full moon on the lunar dial if three extra spin symbols land on the reels simultaneously. If this blood-drenched moon lands and a villager turns into a werewolf wild they remain locked in place as a sticky wild for the remainder of the feature.
Commenting on the game which has a solid return to player (RTP) rate of 96.2%, product owner slots at Yggdrasil, Natalya Ovchinnikova, said in the official press release…
“We are thrilled to release our latest slot hit, the terrifying Blood Moon Wilds in time for the Day of the Dead celebrations that will be taking place all over the world.
“With its pulsating gameplay and chance of huge wins, we’re confident it will exceed expectations and become a firm seasonal favourite.”
Lilith’s Inferno:
The Swedish developer‘s latest title that hits just in time for “All Hallows’ Eve,” will be available across all territories and brands of GVC, and launches on the heels of the flaming hot, Lilith’s Inferno.
The devilish title is AvatarUX Studios’ first game to be launched via its partnership with the innovative content provider through its flagship Masters program after in February the Hong Kong-based developer became the fourth studio to join YGS Masters following Rabcat, Northern Lights, and Fantasma Games.
